I hope everyone here is well and getting as much time as they can to play the beautiful game on the best manager simulator around!
I have been away from playing FM for some time with personal issues taking a bit more priority for me, and to say I have missed being on a great save would be a bit of an understatement.
I am really looking forward to starting a new save on the next PC version of FM and I am getting everything in place to start that in earnest. Actually, I am kind of already thinking about the next save and I would love some advice on an idea I have.

September and October 2044 have tested us - properly tested us. Thirteen matches, four wins, a draw, and a string of losses that¡¯s left us 21st in League Two with 16 points after 15 games. The investment in this squad - lads like Danny Edwards and Abdul Kingsley - set expectations high, but we¡¯ve gone nine league games without a win. That¡¯s a hard truth to swallow, even for a club that¡¯s climbed so far to the EFL.
We opened with a 1-1 draw against QPR at home on September 3rd. Ole Kunst Tangvig, our Everton loanee, sparked hope in the 62nd minute, latching onto a pinpoint through ball from...]]>Mon, 15 Sep 2025 10:36:14 -0000Jack - Bransay Athletic: Land of the Giants
As we close out the opening months of the 2044/45 League Two season, I¡¯m pleased with our early progress despite a mixed bag of results. We¡¯ve played eight matches - five league and three EFL Cup - winning four, drawing one, and losing three, placing us 4th in League Two with 9 points from five games, firmly in the play-off spots.
We kicked off the season on 30 July with a 2-1 victory against Burton Albion at Pirelli Stadium. Jared Haygarth put Burton ahead in the 24th minute, slotting in Ifeanyi Oladimeji¡¯s low pass. Steve White equalised in the 28th minute, heading in Josh Hutchings¡¯...]]>Fri, 12 Sep 2025 23:53:10 -0000Jack - Bransay Athletic: Land of the Giants
Irons Secure Lucrative Deal as Ole Kunst Tangvig Joins Everton
Bransay Athletic are delighted to announce the transfer of 19-year-old Danish striker Ole Kunst Tangvig to Championship side Everton for an undisclosed fee, with the exciting addition that Tangvig will return to Forge Road on loan for the 2044/45 League Two season.
The deal, finalised on 12 September 2024, includes a sell-on clause, ensuring the club benefits from any future transfer of the talented forward. This move adds to the fees already secured from prior transfer dealings, further strengthening our financial position as we...]]>Fri, 12 Sep 2025 20:42:12 -0000Jack - Bransay Athletic: Land of the Giants
Bransay Athletic Bolster Defence with Two Left-Back Signings
Bransay Athletic have addressed their left-back shortage with two key signings before the transfer deadline, strengthening their squad for the 2044/45 League Two season.
Manager Callum Baird has secured 24-year-old George Wood from National League Newport County for ?17,000 and smashed the club¡¯s transfer record to sign 19-year-old England Under-19 international Danny Edwards from Coventry City for ?375,000.

As I prepare for steering Bransay Athletic into the 2044/45 League Two season, the view from Forge Road is one of cautious optimism. Last season¡¯s 8th-place finish with 72 points was a solid step forward, and our historic FA Cup quarter-final run - beating Burnley - proved we can punch above our weight. With 11 new first-team signings, including three loanees, and a refreshed League Two featuring relegated sides like Blackburn Rovers and promoted Boston United, we¡¯re aiming for a play-off push. The bookies have us as 6th favourites at 10/1, and I¡¯m confident our revamped squad can challenge. ...]]>Fri, 12 Sep 2025 13:08:04 -0000Jack - Bransay Athletic: Land of the Giants
Bransay¡¯s Summer: Summer 2044 Transfer Timeline
Bransay Athletic have undergone a significant squad overhaul in the summer 2044 transfer window, balancing the departure of key players with 11 first-team signings, including three loanees, and four youth additions.
With eight outgoings and the return of five loanees to their parent clubs, manager Callum Baird has retained 11 players from last season¡¯s 8th-placed League Two side. As relegated sides like Bristol Rovers and promoted teams like Solihull Moors join the division, here¡¯s a timeline of Bransay¡¯s transfer activity from June to July. ...]]>Thu, 11 Sep 2025 21:02:03 -0000Jack - Bransay Athletic: Land of the Giants
As the 2043/44 League Two season drew to a close, we did end on a high note, winning three of our final four matches to secure an 8th-place finish with 72 points from 46 games. This marks a step up from last season¡¯s 10th place, achieving our consolidation goal despite a challenging campaign. Playing just four league games in April due to our FA Cup run, we went 3-1-0, showcasing the squad¡¯s resilience.
We kicked off April with a commanding 3-0 victory over Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road on 9 April. Steve Crosby opened the scoring in the 21st minute, curling a 20-yard effort into the...]]>Wed, 10 Sep 2025 14:38:32 -0000Jack - Bransay Athletic: Land of the Giants
As we approach the final stretch of the 2043/44 League Two season, February and March have been tough for us, with only two wins, three draws, and five losses across 10 matches. Sitting 10th with 63 points from 42 games, we¡¯ve slipped from our play-off position at the turn of the year, but our FA Cup Fifth Round triumph over Burnley remains a highlight.
We opened February with a 1-1 draw against Yeovil Town at Forge Road on 6 February. Jowan Johnny put Yeovil ahead in the 69th minute, slotting in Kemar Holding¡¯s low pass. Bransay Athletic Stun Burnley in FA Cup Victory
Bransay Athletic have etched their name into club history with a sensational 2-1 victory over Premier League Burnley in the FA Cup Fifth Round at Forge Road, securing their first-ever quarter-final berth.
The League Two side, currently 8th and chasing a play-off spot, outfought their top-flight opponents in front of a raucous 8,000-strong crowd, surpassing their previous best runs to the Fifth Round in 2033 against Liverpool and last season against Tottenham.

As we head into February, I¡¯m proud of our resilience through a gruelling December and January, where we played 17 matches, winning 7, drawing 4, and losing 6. With 14 league games, one EFL Trophy match, and two FA Cup ties, we¡¯re holding 6th in League Two with 57 points from 34 games, tied with Shrewsbury in the play-offs. Our FA Cup run, highlighted by victories over Peterborough and Wrexham, has us dreaming of a Fifth Round upset against Burnley.

Bransay Athletic Stun Wrexham with FA Cup Fourth Round Win
Bransay have pulled off a remarkable 2-0 upset against Championship side Wrexham at Y Cae Ras, securing their place in the FA Cup Fifth Round against Premier League Burnley at Forge Road in February.
Despite Wrexham¡¯s dominance in shots, shots on target, corners, and possession, Bransay¡¯s clinical finishing and resolute defending delivered a famous victory for the League Two underdogs.
Wrexham, managed by Greg Anderson, controlled the game from the outset, peppering Andrew Reid¡¯s goal with efforts but failing to find a breakthrough....]]>Tue, 09 Sep 2025 09:42:41 -0000Jack - Bransay Athletic: Land of the Giants

JOHN WESLEY. It was Mrs. Klegg's turn to receive a shock when she rushed out to greet her son, and found Annabel by his side. It went deeper to her heart than it had to Maria's; but, then, she had more philosophy, and had foreseen it longer. Chapter 9 If the walls obeyed, he might be able to tell them to go. They would move and he could leave and find Dara. Since it would not be for himself but for Dara, such a command might not count as an escape: the chain of obedience might work for him. He sat down, and immediately his mother put a plate of hot bacon before him. She was vexed because it was the only meat he allowed himself on week-days. The children ate bread and milk, and thrived on it, to judge by their round healthy faces. Reuben was proud of them. They were fine children, and he hoped that the one that was coming would be as sturdy. Yes, she was dying¡ªand she hoped that she would die[Pg 119] before Reuben came back. She did not want to feel again that strange, half-bitter compassion for him. The tears ran quite fast down her cheeks, and her eyes were growing dim. This was the end, and she knew it. The evening was full of tender life, but for her it was the end. Ambition and folly had stolen her out of all this freshness before the spring of her life had run. She was like a young birch tree blighted with its April leafage half uncurled. "Yes, that's it¡ªinstead of spending twenty minnut at your breakfast, you spend forty. You idle away my time wud your hemmed tricks, and I w?an't have it, I tell you, I w?an't have it. Lord! when I wur your age, I wur running the whole of this farm alone¡ªevery str?ak of work, I did it. I didn't go wasting time over my meals, and writing rubbidge fur low-down Gladstone p?apers. Now d?an't you go sassing me back, you young good-fur-nothing, or I'll flay you, surelye!" Once in sick amazement at himself he took refuge at Cheat Land, and sat for an hour in Alice Jury's kitchen, watching her sew. But the springs of his confidence were dried, he could not tell Alice what he felt about Rose. She knew, of course. All the neighbourhood knew he was in love with Rose Lardner, and watched the progress of his courtship with covert smiles. "There's no use your trying to git in." But the cottage was shut. With its red-rotting roof between two tall chimneys it looked exactly like a rabbit's head between its ears; the windows were blind, though it was past seven o'clock, and though Reuben knocked at the door loudly, there was no one to be seen. He prowled once or twice round the house, fumbling handles and window-latches, but there was no way of getting in. He listened, but he could not hear a sound. He pictured Rose and Handshut in each other's arms, laughing at him in his wretchedness and their bliss¡ªand all the time he wanted the woman's blood more than the man's. CHAPTER II. "That's right, galleyman¡ªyou have hit him there. That knave's skull is a perfect book of entries, and can furnish precedents for every crime, from high treason to a simple assault. He'll crack jokes to the last. But, by the green wax! we must think of a proper description for him, to insert in the pannel. Let me see¡ªaye, I have it. A man from Worcester has lately settled at Deerhurst; his name is James Mills, a substantial man. Here, Harvey," as he took from his pocket a slip of parchment, and wrote the necessary particulars, and sealed it carefully, "take this to Lawyer Manlove. We must now see whether Beauchamp's clothes will suit our friend here." "My lord," said Richard, "we are resolved to meet these bold men, and hear what they have to say. Shall you attend us, my lord of Canterbury?" The smith was here interrupted by a messenger from Richard, with a proclamation for the Commons to meet him the next morning in Smithfield, when they should have every thing they required.
